Is Nikah valid if the bride is in her menses at the time

I have a small clarification. I would like to know whether the Nikah would be valid if the girl is in her menses.

Answer

Nikah has nothing to do with menses; it can be done any time with the free consent of the bride and bridegroom. The question of menses plays a role in issues like divorce, prayers, fasting, Hajj, and marital intercourse.
