Are the Americans God's Favourites ?

Question:
In one of your blogs "Why are Muslims Suffering" you mentioned that the present-day Muslims were suffering because they were morally degenerated and therefore God allowed the US and its allied forces to inflict miseries on them. Does that not mean by implication that the US and its allied forces were more acceptable in the eyes of God and that they have been chosen by Him to implement His plans?

Response:
Satan is there to dissuade us from the right path. God allows him to effectively influence those people who aren't willing to follow the right path. So, while being an evil himself, he is also accomplishing God's work of causing those to go astray who in God's plan were designed to be led astray. In doing that he isn't being a good boy. It's just that his evil work converges with God's plan.

It's like if God has planned for someone to die at a particular point in time, and another person also plans to kill him, God allows him to do so. In the process the crime of murder takes place and so does God's plan. Had it been God's will, the killer's plan wouldn't have materialized. But he would still have been guilty of intending, and attempting to act upon his intention, to kill.

What I am suggesting is that like Satan is successful in dissuading us from the correct way because of our failing, and Satan doesn't become innocent in doing it, the US etc have been allowed to be successful against us because of our moral failings because of which God is not coming to our aid. In the process, the US doesn't necessarily become a good boy in the eyes of God.
